Hello, I’m Judy Renihan. Over the years I have worked in schools, the mental health service and private practice. I work through a variety of issues with individuals, couples and groups.
My work has enabled clients to realise positive change and a better understanding of themselves.
There are times in our lives when we can feel overwhelmed and unable to cope with the stresses of everyday life. These difficulties can affect how we function; impacting on our relationships, work and home life. We may feel that we go through life repeating the same painful pattern and not being sure why.
Counselling gives clarity to your situation enabling you to find a way out of, what can feel like a very dark jungle. Whether dealing with short or, deeper, long term issues, I believe that, through talking therapy, individuals can find the strength and wisdom within themselves to make changes that will enhance and enrich their lives. Positive change can be realised in a safe and supportive space where intimate and personal feelings and issues can be discussed in confidence.
I have trained in both counselling and psychotherapy working with clients of all ages and backgrounds in private practice, the NHS and with local councils and schools. I have worked extensively in the mental health sector supporting sufferers and their families.
